Gurugram-based AI startup Brekfuz has raised $525,000 in a funding round valuing it at $7.5 million, according to the ET report.

The round included participation from Pear VC, Pareto Holdings, Collective Global and angel investors.

Founded by Arhan Singhal (18), and Sarthak Ahuja (19), the startup is building what it calls a “Human API” for enterprise employees. Singhal is an AI student at the University of Pennsylvania, while Ahuja is a computer science student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Both founders are from Gurgaon in Haryana.

The startup describes the product as a knowledge layer that turns workplace expertise into searchable information for employees and AI systems. It is designed to help teams find institutional context across workplace tools without relying on individual employees to answer repeated questions.

Brekfuz said its platform can connect with sources such as Slack, meetings, code reviews and other workplace records to build a map of organisational knowledge, including who owns what, who knows what and how work moves across teams.

Users can ask questions in natural language and receive answers linked to the underlying source material, such as messages, tickets or code commits.

It said the software is aimed at helping organisations make their people, processes and decisions more searchable, accessible and actionable as businesses adopt AI tools.
