Netradyne, an AI-powered fleet safety and performance technology company with a presence in Bengaluru, has announced a strategic partnership with Geosecure, an Australian fleet technology specialist headquartered on the Sunshine Coast.
The partnership will bring Netradyne's AI-driven driver monitoring platform to Australian fleets through Geosecure's existing client network and local market expertise.
At the core of Netradyne's offering is its Driver-i platform, which uses AI to analyse the entirety of a vehicle's drive time and alerts drivers to risky behaviour such as speeding, tailgating, and distracted driving in real time, before an incident actually occurs. Rather than focusing only on flagging violations, the platform's DriverStars programme is designed to recognise and reward safe driving habits as they happen.
According to the company, fleets with higher DriverStar activity see fewer risky behaviours, lower accident rates, higher driver engagement, and better retention of their safest drivers.
An optional add-on called the DMS Sensor detects early signs of driver fatigue, including microsleeps, blink rate changes, and eye closure patterns, even in low light conditions or when a driver is wearing sunglasses.
According to Australia's National Road Safety Strategy, driver fatigue contributes to nearly 20% of fatal road crashes in the country. Beyond safety, the platform also tracks fuel efficiency related metrics such as idling time and mileage, ranking drivers against their peers and using the same recognition-based approach to encourage more fuel-efficient driving habits.
Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President of Europe and APAC Business at Netradyne, said, "Australia represents a key growth market for us, with operating conditions that align closely with where our technology delivers the greatest value. Partnering with Geosecure strengthens our ability to scale locally and help fleets improve driver performance, strengthen safety culture, and deliver measurable outcomes."
Andrew Hutson, Founder of Geosecure, said, "We're highly selective about the technology we stand behind. Netradyne impressed us because it actively helps in preventing incidents, not just recording them. And the way it recognises good drivers makes it something our clients embrace. This partnership gives fleets the tools to intervene earlier, protect their drivers more effectively, and reduce serious incidents through proactive insight, not just post-event footages."
Netradyne was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in San Diego, with additional offices in San Francisco, Nashville, the Netherlands, and Bengaluru.
