Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has made a strategic investment in Fizzy Goblet, deepening her association with the Indian footwear and accessories brand.
The financial details of the investment were not disclosed.
The startup said Kapoor, who became its brand ambassador in 2022 after having worn the label since 2014, will now take on a broader role. She is expected to be involved in design selection and support brand-building efforts in India and overseas.
Founded by designer Laksheeta Govil in 2014, Fizzy Goblet began with handcrafted Indian footwear and has since expanded into categories including juttis, kolhapuris, heels, loafers, sneakers, sliders, bags and potlis.
The brand sells through its own website and startup-owned stores. It currently operates 16 outlets and has said it does not rely on marketplaces or franchise partners.
Fizzy Goblet is seeking to scale from an annualised revenue base of about Rs 60 crore towards Rs 100 crore as it expands its retail network and international business.
Laksheeta Govil, Founder, Fizzy Goblet, said “It is my vision to make Fizzy Goblet the first globally recognisable Indian footwear and accessories brand. Having Kareena on board as a strategic partner is the first major step on that journey. She is the ultimate embodiment of everything we stand for, and this partnership marks the beginning of an exciting new phase for us.”
“I believe deeply that India’s design capabilities and heritage have so much to offer the world, and Fizzy Goblet reflects that. The brand has always been part of my wardrobe, and my conviction in what Laksheeta is building has only grown,” said Kareena Kapoor.

The investment comes as a growing number of Indian consumer brands bring public figures on board as investors or strategic partners, rather than limiting such associations to endorsements.
Fizzy Goblet said the first initiative under the expanded partnership will be announced later in July.
