Temasek-linked Macritchie Investments Pte Ltd has sold a 2.2% stake in PB Fintech, the parent company of Policybazaar and Paisabazaar, through bulk deals worth about Rs 1,633 crore.

NSE bulk deal data showed Macritchie Investments sold 1.01 crore shares at Rs 1,604.12 apiece, taking the total transaction value to Rs 1,632.98 crore. The investor held a 6.47% stake in PB Fintech at the end of March.

The transaction comes after a series of large secondary share sales in PB Fintech.

In May, Tencent Cloud Europe BV exited its remaining 1.05% stake in the company, selling 48.4 lakh shares at Rs 1,664 each for about Rs 805.4 crore. Later that month, PB Fintech co-founders Yashish Dahiya and Alok Bansal sold a combined 38 lakh shares at Rs 1,751 each, raising about Rs 665 crore.

Separately, PB Fintech has been expanding parts of its financial services business. The company’s M&A and Investment Committee approved an investment of up to Rs 20 crore in PB Pay Private Limited, its wholly owned online payment aggregation subsidiary, in one or more tranches.

“The capital is being infused to support business expansion and/or to meet the capital adequacy/net worth criteria mandated by the RBI for operating as a Payment Aggregator,” PB Fintech said in its exchange filing.

The committee also approved the incorporation of two wholly owned step-down subsidiaries in Dubai’s International Financial Centre through PB Fintech FZ LLC. The proposed entities, Policybazaar Financial Advisors (DIFC) LLC and PB Re Brokers (DIFC) LLC, will seek approvals to offer financial advisory and reinsurance-related services.

For the fourth quarter of FY26, PB Fintech reported a 37% year-on-year rise in consolidated operating revenue to Rs 2,061 crore, while PAT rose 54% to Rs 261 crore.
